Venus and a Crescent Moon

The view from here. Venus and a waxing crescent Moon in Sagittarius. It's a brilliant time to allow a greater sense of lightness to enter your heart (especially if it is feeling otherwise).

Here is a Moon Mantra to help you do just that:

I breathe life in with light,
filling my heart with love.
I breathe it all out with love,
filling my being with light

Meditate on this mantra, or use it as a positive affirmation by repeating it quietly within or aloud. To extend on its message, write it down in your journal and say it to yourself - tune in to how it feels within your body and note it down. Express it out in whatever way feels good to you.

I'd love to hear from you. What helps you feel a greater sense of lightness in your heart? Add your comments below or be a part of the conversation on my Facebook Page.

Clearing Emotional Channels

Hello Full Moon in Pisces. The lunar energies are splashing our faces with fresh (albeit even icy) cold water as a divine wake up call to our current emotions. Whether you are feeling 'woo!', 'whoa!' or 'what the!', check in with the feelings moving through you right now. What are they wanting to gift you? Fluid like water, emotions are in constant motion - and the Moon in Pisces is particularly surfacing old emotions to be healed and released. With an old emotion, the feeling itself will be familiar to you (so much so you may be thinking 'why am I feeling this again!'), though now is an opportunity to move through it in a brand new way.

Clear your emotional channels with this Moon Mantra;

It is safe for me to let go of my old emotions.
I love and appreciate my emotional guidance system.
My feelings flow perfectly at all times.

What are some of the ways you clear your emotional channels? Add your comments below or be a part of the conversation on my Facebook Page.

Your Next Step

Once in a blue moon, a Blue Moon arrives. And it's here.

Today's Full Moon in Aquarius is an astrological Blue Moon, with the last Full Moon on July 23 also in Aquarius. During a walk yesterday morning I passed a preschool, where a group of 4 year olds were playing a game outside. One kid was shouting at the top of his lungs to the other kids standing in a line in front of him, "Are! You! Reeeeeeady!". To which the kids responded as loud as they could, "Yeeeeeees!". He said it three times, saying it more like a statement of intent than a question. As it happened 'Miraculous Emergence' had literally been on my mind, the latest intuited sketch about being born ready. I looked around me, feeling like I was in the Truman Show. Three more Truman Show type experiences have happened for me over the past 24 hours.

A super charged reminder that: Everything is happening for us not to us.

It's up to you which perspective you hold.

The current lunar energies are gifting us a double-powered opportunity to use what is surfacing in our lives right now (inside and out) to *help* not hinder our individual emergence into more of our wholeness. To emerge calls to let go of holding onto what no longer serves you, be it a fear, a resistance or a limiting belief. It might also include letting go of thinking you are not ready to really be your brilliant self or to radiate that out.

Here is a Moon Mantra to help show up for yourself:

I am ready to emerge. I am ready for my next step.

Meditate on this mantra, or use it as a positive affirmation by repeating it quietly within or aloud. To extend on its message, write it down in your journal and say it to yourself - tune in to how it feels within your body and note it down. Express it out in whatever way feels good to you.

And howl. Oh, I meant allow.

I'd love to hear from you. What helps you let go of fears and limiting beliefs? Add your comments below or be a part of the conversation on my Facebook Page.

Air Out Your Thoughts

The Universe is lending us a hand right now in airing out old ways of thinking. Creating the space for new ways of being. Thanks to the Full Moon in Aquarius tomorrow Tuesday July 23 (4:15am AEST).

The airy energies of the water-bearer streams in a cleansing air for our thoughts, expands our creative flow and allows greater clarity to surface from within. When the mind is at ease, it steps into its highest role of being a positive ally to our deep inner knowing. Yet when we over identify with the mind as our guiding force, our inner critics, shadow aspects and fears can unconsciously influence our direction.

Here is a Moon Mantra to help air out your thoughts and consciously steer your ship where you truly desire to go;

I am free to be me. My deep inner knowing always guides me in my divine direction. It is safe for my mind to be at ease.

Meditate on this mantra, or use it as a positive affirmation by repeating it quietly within or aloud. To extend on its message, write it down in your journal and say it to yourself - tune in to how it feels within your body and note it down. Express it out in whatever way feels good to you. I felt called to work with it outside and found myself needing to twirl.

Note to self, twirling makes me inner child happy.

I'd love to hear from you. What helps your mind be at ease? Add your comments below or be a part of the conversation on my Facebook Page.

A Super Full Moon

The super rainy weather may have blocked the view of the Super Full Moon here in Sydney tonight, but not its gifts and effects.

This Full Moon in the earthy sign of Capricorn is an ideal time to pause and reflect on your recent emotional growth. To embody the full expression of who you are, means to allow the self to release all that you are not. One layer at a time, one old belief at a time or one self-sabotaging thought at a time. As the moon grew full, you may have been called to tweak or completely redefine what it is you desire to do right now, whether within your home, relationships, family, life or work. As an added bonus, this call very likely arrived with an invitation titled 'Out with the old!', this includes old ways of thinking, feeling and being that simply do not fit anymore.

To honour your journey wherever you are at, here is super-loving Moon Mantra;

I truthfully see how I respond to life. I loving release all I am not. I love all of who I am.

Inner Alignments

Creative Nudge Fridays is here!

We're aligning.

It's Solstice time. Happy Winter Solstice to all in the Southern Hemisphere. This longest and darkest night of the year is a brilliant time to ground your being and be at home within, to reflect on your inner growth during the past six months (yes, there has been plenty even if at first glance it appears otherwise!) and celebrate the return of lighter days. Happy Summer Solstice to all in the Northern Hemisphere as you celebrate the longest and lightest day of the year, and reflect on all that has come to light (remember, inner truth does set us free even when it pushes us way out of our comfort zones). It is a sacred time wherever you are.

This nudge is a reflective invitation to honour your own personal inner alignment.

Tune into the magic of the current energies and align to your centre with this Solstice Mantra;

My breath returns me home right now. I am centred in my light.

Meditate on this mantra, or use it as a positive affirmation by repeating it quietly within or aloud. To extend on its message, write it down in your journal and say it to yourself - tune in to how it feels within your body and note it down.

To remind yourself that home is wherever you are, take a pic of today's sky, then use the pic as your screen saver or wallpaper on your phone or computer. If you give the nudge a go, comment below or be a part of the conversation on my Facebook Page. If you share your sky pic via Twitter or Instagram use the tag #creativenudgefridays so we can find you.

May your breath can return you home wherever you are.

Truth and Hot Chocolate

Truth is often seen as a fixed and factual force, an ideal place to cast our life's anchor. But what happens when what we know as truth, begins to shift? It can rock our boat and feel far from a safe harbour.

There are truths in life that are definite and precise, such as the truth that our physical body is made up of over 10 trillion cells and the truth that our planet Earth orbits our closet star the Sun. These principles of nature thrive and exist beyond the need of our validation or control. Yet because these truths exist, so do we. There are truths that form part of our reality for a short time or our entire life time, truths born out of trust in others. These can be life-changing truths. When expressed through the lens of inner wounds and fear, such truths can trigger and surface hurt within us. But when expressed through love it embraces its highest purpose and ultimately serves to uplift us even when it may initially feel otherwise. Then there is our own inner truth. The more we learn to ride its ebbs and flows without self-judgement the more easeful we find our footing whenever we might lose it.

Our inner truth is ever-present and positively powerful. We can consciously tune into its wisdom and allow it to illuminate our highest path forward. At any given moment we can resist or flow with what rings true for us. To connect deeper with your inner truth right now, ask yourself, 'Where does my inner truth sit in my body?', 'What does my inner truth look like?' and 'Where am I resisting or flowing with the wisdom of my inner truth?". Allow the responses to come to the surface or free write your answers in a journal.

Standing in our truth honours what is true for us in any given moment. Our truth can alter as our perspectives alter. The more you focus on refuelling your self-love and self-care tanks, the more easeful the transition whenever your inner truth moves through periods of growth and expansion.

The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Scorpio right now is a super-charged time for aligning with what rings true for you. If you feel right on track in your life, you might feel like life is gifting you a timely boost. If you feel off-course, you might feel momentarily lost but soon to be unexpectedly found. Hold steady to your inner truth with this Moon Mantra; "I hear my inner truth and flow with its wisdom. I trust my highest self."

I'd love to hear from you. What does your inner truth look like and how do you connect deeper with its wisdom? Add your comments below or be a part of the conversation on my Facebook Page.

p.s. Kalvin just made himself a cup of organic hot chocolate. It's getting a bit nippy in the evenings here in Sydney. Being a lover of all things nourishing, Kalvin says it's drinkable self-care and a comforting reminder that truth like hot chocolate is fluid. Sure he says, it can burn our tongue when too hot or when left unattended can become unsavourily too cold to swallow. But when it's just right, when it rings true from the depths of our being, it warms our belly with pure and delicious richness.
