Creative Nudge Fridays is Here!

Creative Nudge Fridays is here!

Welcome to the first nudge. We're going to start at the heart. It's where your expression of love - of who you are - begins. Most of us are familiar with living, being and investing enough into who we are not. This weekend, hold the space for who you are. You are energy dancing in form, a reality shaper {you create it!}
and according to quantum physics, you really are light. Self-love and self-care allows us to awaken deeper to this knowing.

Here is an exercise to help refuel your self-love and self-care tanks: Write a love note. To yourself. It can be as brief or lengthy as you like. This exercise can be done in less than 10 minutes, but if you want to immerse in it for longer than that, do it! It's your love note. What is your love note going to say? Focus on what you love and enjoy about who you are. Think about your strengths and positive aspects. Keep it encouraging and loving. And a dose of gratitude, praise and support are brilliant additions too.

Here are some ideas for a creative delivery;
- Write it on a postcard or in a greeting card. Why not make your own using found materials in your home or workplace? Gather things like a magazine, newspaper, old poster or an old cereal box. If you prefer ready-made cards, pop into your local charity store. They often have a collection or cards, sometimes really cool vintage ones. And you get to help a cause at the same time. You could even pop it in the mail and send it to yourself.
- Write it on a post-it.
- Make it into an artwork. Take a sheet of paper and create a drawing, painting or collage and include the words of your love note.
- Get personal and write it on yourself (your foot, your leg or hand), using a skin friendly non-toxic marker or paints.
 - Write it on whatever you have handy, be it a serviette, a chalkboard or a brown paper lunch bag.

Then, place it where you can see it; stick it up on a wall, on the ceiling above your bed, on the fridge or on the bathroom mirror. Or take a photo with your phone, then use the pic as your screen saver or wallpaper (this option is great too if you write the love note in your notebook or journal). If you live with others, get them involved too. You can each write your own love note to stick up and create a love wall out of it!

*For those who follow my blog, this exercise has been inspired by my previous post (thank you Kalvin).

If you like this post, please share it or if you give the exercise a go, please let us know. Take a pic and upload it to my Facebook Page, or share your note in the comments below. I'd love to see all the love!

If you share your love note on Twitter or Instagram, let's use the tag #CreativeNudgeFridays so we can find you.
