Newness and a Moon Mantra

The New Moon Solar Eclipse in Pisces energies are dancing through inner and outer happenings right now.

How it is showing up in your life is a divine reflection of the music you've got going on within; whether it's mellow, more staccato, tribal, folksy, funk, upbeat or it feels more like a track seemingly stuck on repeat. Whatever has been going on for you, now is an empowering time to tap into the new.

Are you liking what you are hearing in your inner world, loving the way you move in your life and what is moving towards you? Amplify more of that.

Not loving it so much? Thank it for showing you that.

And then check in with what you do want to feel within and in your wild precious life. You might feel to journal it out or write down your desires on a piece of paper and burn it (in a safe way), allowing the smoke to send the newness up into the ethers.

The newness you feel is real.

In our energy based Universe, it all exists in vibrational form before we see it in our physical reality.

Here is a Moon Mantra for the now:

I allow the newness within my beingness
to birth through me and my life
with ease, happiness and harmony.

Feel into what you do want.
Flow with what feels good to you.

Your tune matters, no other being has the same vibrational frequency as you. It is always appreciated, heard, held, received and a deliberate part of our co-creative collective symphony with all life, including the animal kingdom, plant life, Mama Earth, every planet, the Sun, all the stars and every teeny tiny atom. xx

I'd love to hear from you. How are the energies showing up for you right now? Add your comments below or be a part of the conversation on my Facebook Page.

Sacred Hearth

30 September to 6 October 2013; 'Sacred Hearth', an intuited sketch from my soul with a message for the week ahead.

A golden hearth built of ancient stardust holds sacred your inner fire that sparked (from your higher spark) when you birthed into the world.

It burns bright, fuelled by oxygen and love. It is soul sustenance, spirit warming and no matter where you are, it goes with you.

No matter whether you are conscious of it or not, it burns on.

And, you are the keeper of the fire.

What you fuel your inner fire with, is what fuels you and the home of your beingness.

Imagine you have an actual hearth in your physical home (perhaps you actually do). Imagine this hearth warms your heart. Its flames soothe your mind and its radiant light is like calming balm for your emotions. Its gentle crackle relaxes your muscles and its familiar scent wafts away any tension. When needed it allows you to release a healing sweat from your pores, cleansing your whole self. Remembering that which you fuel the fire with is that which fuels you, how would you choose to fuel this fire? With natural and safe fuels or hazardous materials?

So, how do you choose to fuel your inner fire? With mindful or toxic fuels? With love or resentment? Gratitude or blame? Inspiration or mediocrity? Flow or stuckness? Trust or doubt? Faith or false control? As the keeper of the fire, you get to choose each day.

This week, tune in to the state of your sacred hearth.

Is there a flicker of a flame or is your inner fire burning ablaze? Is it welcoming and warming? What might it need from you to be even more welcoming and warming? Notice how you fuel your inner fire, and how it fuels you.

Your inner fire is a transformational shapeshifter. If at any moment you choose to change how you fuel your inner fire, it will change how it fuels you and your world.

I'd love to hear from you. How do you fuel your inner fire? Add your comments below or be a part of the conversation on my Facebook Page.

A Radiant Gem

'A Radiant Gem', an intuited sketch from my soul with a message for the week ahead, 12-18 August 2013;

A multi-faceted gem radiates (that's you), knowing each facet (of the self) is unique yet part of the same whole. There's a facet that wants facts first, and a facet that dares to dive into the unknown. There's a facet that seeks silence, and a facet that presses its face to the window eagerly awaiting the next thunder storm. There's a facet that loves to be filled to over-flowing, and a facet that desires to empty itself of all it is not. Who you are is not a collection of contradictions (or a mis-matched mess). Nor are you broken or faulty. You are a divinely crafted whole.

Inner-battles, struggles and self-sabotage momentarily blind our higher vision when we forget we hold it all.

Your whole self is as you already are, whole.

You are a beauty-filled multi-faceted whole. Each one of us are well-aware of the things that seem not-quite-right about us, inside and out. Gemstones do not seek to ignore, deny or dismiss one of its facets. Each facet is held sacred as part of the one beautiful whole.

As any facets show up this week that irk you, push you, bother you or bug you, let them be (without becoming them). There are facets within you that want, will and wish for opposing things. But not to start a war in your head and heart. Simply to remind you all things are possible. So, own the facets that tug at your sleeve. No, it doesn't mean you have to become them. If one facet is loudly protesting that it needs alone (all-one) time doesn't mean you must now become a monk or a nun. Allow them space to be. Listen to what they want to tell you. Hear the message they hold for you.

When our individual facets (especially the ones that are unsure, unclear and holding fear) are allowed to be, they release their resistance and naturally 'click' into place. You are beauty-filled. Beautiful. Whole.

You radiant multi-faceted gem you.

I'd love to hear from you. What facets of self are asking you to let them be right now? Add your comments below or be a part of the conversation on my Facebook Page.

Inner Alignments

Creative Nudge Fridays is here!

We're aligning.

It's Solstice time. Happy Winter Solstice to all in the Southern Hemisphere. This longest and darkest night of the year is a brilliant time to ground your being and be at home within, to reflect on your inner growth during the past six months (yes, there has been plenty even if at first glance it appears otherwise!) and celebrate the return of lighter days. Happy Summer Solstice to all in the Northern Hemisphere as you celebrate the longest and lightest day of the year, and reflect on all that has come to light (remember, inner truth does set us free even when it pushes us way out of our comfort zones). It is a sacred time wherever you are.

This nudge is a reflective invitation to honour your own personal inner alignment.

Tune into the magic of the current energies and align to your centre with this Solstice Mantra;

My breath returns me home right now. I am centred in my light.

Meditate on this mantra, or use it as a positive affirmation by repeating it quietly within or aloud. To extend on its message, write it down in your journal and say it to yourself - tune in to how it feels within your body and note it down.

To remind yourself that home is wherever you are, take a pic of today's sky, then use the pic as your screen saver or wallpaper on your phone or computer. If you give the nudge a go, comment below or be a part of the conversation on my Facebook Page. If you share your sky pic via Twitter or Instagram use the tag #creativenudgefridays so we can find you.

May your breath can return you home wherever you are.

Clearing Your Sacred Space

Creative Nudge Fridays is here!

Welcome to nudge #27. We're clearing space. With our breath.

We know how brilliant it feels to shed the clutter in our home or work space, to clean that room or let go of what hasn't been used in years. It shifts the energy, lets in more light and creates the space for more of what you do want in your life. It feels just as brilliant to let go of stale energy within the sacred space that is our physical body.

Here is a nudge to tune into the cleansing power of your own breath. Use it as a meditation. Find a comfy spot where you can sit on a chair or the ground, or if you want you can lay down - though some people do fall asleep in that position! Before you begin you might like to make your comfy spot more tranquil by lighting a candle (safely) and placing a few natural elements infront of you such as a flower, leaves, crystals or shells.

When you are ready close your eyes and bring your awareness to your breath. Allow your body to enter its own natural rhythm of breathing. Use your in-breath to breathe in what you would like more of in your life, it might be deeper peace, greater calm, more love, joy or whatever is calling you right now. Breathe it in as you say to yourself, "I breathe in ___________" (fill in the blank). Then use your out-breath to breathe out what you no longer need. Breathe it out as you say to yourself, "I breathe out all that is not peace" or whatever you wish to breathe out. As you exhale it can feel very clearing to let out a sound, imagine it's coming up and out from your belly. Continue the process for a few minutes or until you feel done. Then when you are ready, wiggle your toes to bring yourself back to your body in the present moment, and slowly open your eyes.

Note, when practiced in the morning it can help set the tone for a calmer day. Practiced at night it can assist in letting go any stresses and concerns you might be holding, and help induce a more restful and replenishing sleep.

If you feel to expand on the nudge further, write down your response to the meditation in your journal. You might like to note down how the process was for you - easeful or did any resistance surface?

To remind yourself that your breath can help clear and calm your energies, take a pic of your tranquil spot, then use the pic as your screen saver or wallpaper on your phone or computer.

If you give the nudge a go, comment below or be a part of the conversation on my Facebook Page. If you share your tranquil spot via Twitter or Instagram use the tag #creativenudgefridays so we can find you.

Embrace Your Truth

Creative Nudge Fridays is here!

Welcome to nudge #22. We're embracing our truth.

Our inner truth is part disconnection and part connection. The disconnection part continually calls us to let go of who we are not. The connection part is the ever-present invitation to embrace more of who we are. It's an interesting symbiosis. It is in embodying more of our light that often unveils more of our shadow or hidden aspects. This is not to taunt us, rather to help transform us.

Here is a nudge to help embrace more of your truth. Seek your shadow, as in your actual shadow when the sun or other light source is beaming down upon you. Imagine your shadow is an aspect of you that you haven't wanted to face, but that you know on some level you are ready to acknowledge. In your mind's eye or speaking aloud, have a chat with your shadow.
- What does this aspect want to share with you right now?
- What does this aspect need right now?
- And, what gift does this aspect have for you?
When you feel done, thank this aspect for its gifts. If you feel inclined write your responses in a journal or express your experience through an artwork.

A note, if you feel the light is not strong enough to cast a shadow you can chat with, you can do this exercise in your mind's eye. Visualise your shadow in front of you and follow the process as above.

Acknowledging a shadow or hidden aspect transforms its energy - and gives it permission to shift from being a hinderer to a helper in your life.

To remind yourself that facing your shadows allows you to embrace more of your truth, take a pic of your actual shadow, then use the pic as your screen saver or wallpaper on your phone or computer.

If you give the nudge a go, comment below or be a part of the conversation on my Facebook Page. If you share your shadow pics via Twitter or Instagram use the tag #creativenudgefridays so we can find you.

Destuckify Yourself

Life is energy and energy is in constant motion. Which is why we can feel sad, anxious, unclear, frustrated or angry when we think there is no movement happening within us or in our life.

When we perceive a lack of movement on any level our energies can feel unexpressed. And unexpressed or suppressed energies can surface as a pressure, a pressed down self or pressed down emotions aka de-pression. This can show up as feeling frozen, bogged down or in a state of inertia. In other words, stuck. It's a block in our energy flow. And on the stuckness spectrum it manifests in a number of ways in our inner and outer worlds. On one end of the stuckness spectrum is a sense of numbness, feeling no-thing or a complete lack of direction. On the other end is hyper-activity, such as an over-active mind, hyper-sensitivity or over-whelming doubt. When experiencing stuckness, it's common to visit both sides of the spectrum and everything in between.

Whatever end of the stuckness spectrum we may experience at any given time, all energy is in constant motion and therefore possible to shift.

Think of a car stuck in sand, snow or mud. Slamming down on the accelerator spins the wheels, digging the vehicle in much deeper. So too if we feel stuck in any area of life, forcing ourselves to plough ahead, make big life decisions or expect ourselves to be ten paces ahead than where we are at - can expand the stuckness. But just because we can't charge ahead doesn't mean we are unable to move forward.

The steps for pulling a car out of mud can assist to de-stuckify humans too.

Acknowledge the stuckness. Denial keeps stuckness, stuck. Acknowledgment gives stuckness permission to flow. Letting the stuckness know you see it, is key to paving the way for positive change making.

Move into allow-ment. Allow yourself to be with the stuckness, with self-kindess. If self-kindness is challenging for you, think of someone or something you care deeply about and treat yourself with the same kindness as you would show to them. Moving into allow-ment is movement toward greater alignment with the full expression of who you are.

Shift gears. Behind the stuckness you are likely to find charged words and emotions. But before going there, we need to shift gears. One way to do this is to up your level of self-care. One step at a time. If one method isn't feeling great, try another. Do what sits right with you. Here are some helpful ways to shift your inner gears aka energies, and as a bonus these methods help to self-validate your experience;
- Go for a walk, it can be a stroll around your block or through a local park. Physical stress-free movement invites movement on all levels.
- Give voice to your stuckness. How is it really making you feel? Say it aloud until you really mean it! This might mean saying it a few times, or many.
- Write your stuckness out in a journal. Write with self-kindness. Write how stuckness has made or is making you feel. Write until you feel done. It might mean writing every morning for as long as it takes to see your own shifts. That's okay. Journalling is also a brilliant daily self-care tool.
- Reconnect with what gives you joy. Your 'Oh, I used to love doing that!' things. It could be visiting the beach, writing poetry, playing an instrument, listening to music, taking photos, singing in the shower, baking, doodling, dancing, doing yoga, bushwalking, spending time with loved ones, sitting under your favourite tree, spending more time with your animal friends, getting massages, gardening or whatever makes your cells smile. It's okay to do this in little steps, for example you don't have to re-plant an entire green-house, planting a few seeds in a pot can help shift (and ground) your energies.
- Be mindful of what you eat. We can be more sensitive to what we consume than we might consciously realise. Pay attention to how you really feel after eating certain foods. Choose self-nourishing options to help open up to a more nourished self and life.
- Drink water. It is actually ah-mazing how our whole self can feel drained and depleted when we are dehydrated.
- Talk to others in your life who you know will hold a safe space for your sharing. Or join an in-person or online support group where you can share your stuckness in a nurturing environment.

Forward and onwards. With a shift in gears via increased self-care, we open ourselves up to seeing that our stuckness has surfaced for a reason. Although it might feel far from it at the time, stuckness always has a gift for you. One way to uncover the gift is to dialogue with your stuckness. You can do this in your mind's eye, in a journal or during a facilitated session with a wellbeing practitioner. Imagine your stuckness is an energy unto itself, ask your stuckness;
- 'What message do you have for me?'
- 'What do you need from me?'
- 'What gift do you have for me?'
- 'Is there anything else you desire to share right now?'
In asking these questions, listen to the responses that come forth without judgement. Share any reponses you may have with your stuckness. Dialogue until you feel the communication come to a natural close.

On firmer ground. Thank your stuckness. An attitude of gratitude can shift disempowered being to self-empowered living.

Stuckness can cause mischief within us and out. The energies of stuckness can take time before we see it's not-so-positive and disempowering effects in our everyday life. Likewise it takes time to shift back into a more positive and self-empowered state. Be gentle with yourself. See yourself through the eyes of love. Cultivate self-kindness. And if you are feeling stuck or if ever you do, remember all life is energy and energy is in constant motion. All ways, always even we it seems otherwise.

Destuckification is possible.

I'd love to hear from you. What methods have helped you to destuckify, what has worked in your own life? Add your comments below or be a part of the conversation on my Facebook Page.

Sip From What Makes You Shine

Everything we absorb, drink in and soak up is used as fuel for our being.

What we eat, the fluids we drink, the thoughts we think, the air we breathe, the emotions we hold, the beliefs we have, the inspiration we devour, the responses we experience, the actions we do, the movements we make, the words we speak, the words we attach to and how we perceive ourselves and our outer world - all fuel our being. On the surface they all appear to be very different types of fuel. What can be and often is similar is the quality of what we consume.

When the quality of our fuel is of a lower or dense vibration, our being requires more energy to process it. As a result we might find ourselves feeling depleted or drained of energy. When we gravitate toward higher vibrational fuels, we increase our health and sense of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. As a bonus higher quality fuels allows our inner furnace to burn energy more efficiently on all levels - giving us better digestion with everything we consume. Notice this in your own life, higher quality fuels enables you to literally digest emotions smoother, inhale more love, take in more joy and be more present in the now.

Eating an bunch of grapes is different to gulping down an emotion or swallowing an uncomfortable thought. Yet when we are aware that all these things provide fuel for our being - we can shift from leaving the quality of our fuel up to chance to consciously engaging with the quality of our fuel by choice.

Our being does not label fuel 'good' nor 'bad'. We all have moments when we feel triggered to do something we know is not so brilliant for us. Or moments when we simply fancy a treat. Like having a makes-my-inner-child-happy butterfly cupcake or a weekend fry-up for breakfast. On a not so side note, having such things on a regular basis shape-shifts a treat into an energy depleter. What matters is the quality of fuel we most often choose on a regular basis.

To create positive change in your life, or increase your sense of wellbeing on any level - check in with the quality of your fuel.

I'd love to hear about what fuels you! How do you notice the difference in your own life between lower and higher vibrational fuels? Add your comments below or be a part of the conversation on my Facebook Page.

p.s. Kalvin says what fuels us brews together to form our very own personal blend of life tonic. It's like a bowl of goodness from which we draw our sustenance from. Of course the goodness in your bowl can only be as fabulous as the ingredients you put in it. Kalvin says our personal blend of life tonic is magical, in the sense that we can change it at any time. We can add to or subtract from the blend. We can dull it down or perk it up. We can neglect it as a resource or make conscious use of it as a self-nourishing tool with abundant boundless possibilities. Making more nourishing choices with what fuels you can transform you, your path and the vision you have for your life. Sip from what makes you shine.

Creative Nudge Fridays is Here!

Creative Nudge Fridays is here!

Welcome to the first nudge. We're going to start at the heart. It's where your expression of love - of who you are - begins. Most of us are familiar with living, being and investing enough into who we are not. This weekend, hold the space for who you are. You are energy dancing in form, a reality shaper {you create it!}
